THREE MARKETS, ONE FOCUS.

A global leader in communications technology Linearizer Communications Group specializes in custom distortion solutions for ground and space qualified satellite applications as well as RF on fiber photonic systems.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

LINEARIZER COMMUNICATIONS GROUP

For over three decades Linearizer Technology has improved the performance of satellite systems through the linearization of RF amplifiers for commercial and government applications. Linear Photonics is the market leader in the development of analog photonic systems for transmission and signal processing applications for government and civilian markets. Linear Space Technology develops space qualified linearizers and solid-state amplifiers. The three companies now operate as divisions of the Linearizer Communications Group (LCG) reflecting their ability to bring the resources of the entire organization to address customer’s needs.

LCG products are in service in both commercial and government applications. Linearizers users include TWTA, Klystron, MPM and SSPA amplifier manufacturers, satellite system operators, major teleports, for GPS, PCS, cellular and radar applications. Analog photonic systems have been deployed for GPS, PNT and antennae remoting applications for both commercial and government systems.

A BRIEF HISTORY

30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Founded in 1991, Linearizer Technology, Inc., a division of Linearizer Communications Group, was founded by Dr. Allen Katz, a professor of Electrical/Computer Engineering at The College of New Jersey. With more than 25 years of experience in the microwave and communications industries, Dr. Katz incorporated Linearizer Technology, together with several of his former top students.

In 2004, to meet the exponentially growing demand for communications and information technologies, Linearizer Technology, Inc. expanded operations and created Linear Photonics, LLC (LP) to design and manufacture linearized photonic communications links. The LP strategy is to focus on core technical competency while applying it at a customer-focused level of integration. LP satisfies a wide range of market requirements in both commercial and military applications.

Two years later, Linear Space Technology (LST) was formed specifically to address the flight segment need for linearizers, linearized driver amplifiers and solid-state power amplifiers. LST incorporated and quickly received its first contract to provide flight hardware. LST maintains fully separate inventory, clean room manufacturing, MRB and inspection locations to ensure rigorous space-level tracking, documentation and manufacturing.

All three of our technology divisions Linearizer Technology, Linear Photonics and Linear Space Technology have been ISO Certified since 2007. Thousands of LCG linearizers are in service in the USA, in-flight, in-orbit and throughout the world in commercial and government applications. Thousands of analog photonic links have been deployed in both commercial and government facilities.
